In January of 2008, Tim Minnix approached key women personnel on the Minnix team, to offer an opportunity to establish a women owned company that is owned, operated, and managed by women.
MCS Contractor's Inc. is a HUB certified Lubbock based construction firm. MCS was started in January of 2008 by Kimberly Chitwood, Ella Jo Sisk, Miranda Willey, and Tim & Connie Minnix. Tim and Connie are the owners of Minnix Commercial Construction and have been in the construction industry since 1970. Kimberly Chitwood joined the Minnix team in July of 2007. She has a BS Architecture degree from Texas Tech University and 14 years experience as a construction project manager. Ella Jo Sisk has worked with the MCS family since 1997 and manages the book keeping, accounts, and financial reports for all MCS companies, as well as non-profit organizations, such as Heartbeat. Miranda Willey is the younger of Tim & Connie's two daughters. She is a commercial realtor at KW Commercial.
